Curriculum Alignment

ThinkStretch summer review is updated and aligned with the Common Core State Standards, including use of math models and increasing rigor of instruction. The Race to the Top grant process, sponsored by the U.S. Department of Education, has led 45 of 50 states to adopt the Common Core State Standards (CCSS).

The two largest states that remain with independent standards are Texas and Virginia. To help save teachers valuable time, we also have updated alignment with SOL, TEKS, and GLCE, so there’s no need to adapt our program to the state specific curriculum standards in Virginia, Texas and Michigan.

Unsure if your state has adopted the CCSS? View a map of all the states and see your state’s date of Common Core State Standard adoption.
