Magic? Not really, but you can bend a stream of water just using a comb and your hair!
What you need:
- Plastic comb
- Water faucet
- Clean, dry hair
What you do:
- Turn on the water so it comes out in a very tiny stream.
- Run a plastic comb through clean hair 10 times.
- Bring your comb near the stream of water and watch the water bend towards from the comb! Do not let your comb touch the water.
Why it works
You charged your comb with negatively charged electrons of static electricity. The water is positively charged. Opposites attract so the water bends toward the comb.
