It’s the season for tricks and treats! BOO-ing is the perfect way to get your whole family in the Halloween spirit! The idea is quite simple: Once it’s dark outside, sneak to another family’s front door and leave your little bag of Halloween goodies on their step, complete with a “We’ve Been Boo’d” sign for their window and poem on how to play. Then, ring their doorbell and hide! It’s just so fun to do together, and then to watch as the fun spreads around the neighborhood! Here’s how you can start the “boo” tradition in your own neighborhood!
What you need:
- A small bag of goodies (chances are, the kids will be digging into these goodie bags very close to bed time. To help your friends avoid facing an end of day sugar rush, throw a few Halloween trinkets into the mix.)
- Copies of our “You’ve Been Boo’d” free Halloween printables – get them here: thinkstretchwevebeenbooed! and ThinkStretchBooPoem
- A stealth team of family members
