Do ants like sweets as much as kids? According to scientists, an ant in your yard, kitchen (Yikes!), or on the sidewalk is more attracted to a strong, sweet scent than a dull scent. The trick this experiment is to prove that ants like sweets without ending up with ants in the kitchen!
What you need:
- Piece of bread
- Piece of potato
- Piece of apple
What you do:
- Place the pieces of food a distance away from each other in a yard or on a sidewalk.
- Keep an eye on the food and check back often.
