Movies are perfect for rainy summer days, but do they have to have flying monkeys?!
Bringing a story to life with pictures, movement, music, and, of course, imagination is what a movie does best. Many children’s movies are based on popular books and, while they don’t often contain every detail of the original premise, it can wonderful to see our favorite characters leap off the screen. Rotten Tomatoes, a website devoted to movie news and reviews, recently released its “Top 100 Kids & Family Movies” list.
